The impact of your donations
Our House operates on donations and the support of the community. Without you, none of this could be possible.
This House and our in-hospital Family Rooms are more than just a place to stay. It’s a place to stay strong.

We celebrated the completion of the Ronald McDonald House Ottawa expansion. Though families have been in the new House since the end of January, this event was about celebrating our donors, friends, government partners, and community supporters. We increased the capacity from 14 to 36 suites.
We are dedicated to providing a warm, safe, affordable and compassionate environment for families of children in-hospital.
Families also experience connection, a sense of belonging while far from home, and the warmth of a community that truly cares.

Ronald McDonald House Ottawa has expanded from 14 to 36 family suites – more than doubling our capacity for families with sick or injured children travelling for care.
This expansion allows us to eliminate our waitlist and increase our ability to serve Eastern Ontario, parts of Quebec and north to Nunavut, from 5,000 nights provided annually, to now over 13,000 nights families can stay together each year.
